Coliban River Gathering Day - for our Community

When - Friday 9 October, 10.30am to 2.30pm

Where - Lauriston Common, Reservoir Rd Lauriston

Coliban River is known by Dja Dja Wurrung People as 'Dindilong Yaluk'. The river at Lauriston is a scenic public space undergoing a restoration journey, as part of A Healthy Coliban Catchment program.

 Locals, visitors, farmers, community and their families are welcome to join a gathering day hosted by DJAARA, Coliban Water and North Central CMA.

 The relaxed cultural and family friendly event will include:

• Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony

• 'The Great Spring Clean' litter pick site

• River Walk Trail

• Information displays from all project partners

• Interactive turtle and native fish displays

• BBQ lunch, coffee Van
